How many people was this, 20 from the ss? Thats full, isnt it? So wait, it only lagged on one map? How much was the drop, to 80t/s?

Like I said, check the actual network settings in the OS and see if there is anything worth optimizing.

I only played for a bit but the server seemed OK at that point (20 ppl).

Also as a point of order I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised to see competitive swap-at-half-time being used for one thing.

I've tweaked a lot of settings. Let me know how it runs and if there is any noticeable difference.

Yes, 20 players and I only noticed this on Inferno. But that is also the map that we had the most players on if I recall correctly.

As to bandwidth, I don't think we need to force a minimum rate of 100000 (which is what the console returned to me). Perhaps lower it into the 50000-80000 range?

In any case, will test tonight with the updated changes.

The few times I have been able to get on the cloud server and have more than 10 people... things have been good. None of the persistent lag that would clear out a server. I can't say that I have played Inferno on the TPG cloud though.

If anyone is getting a game going tonight send me an invite, I will be around.

Yeah, I agree 100k is a little overkill. Lowering will undoubtedly help.

FYI guys the changes I made may actually cause lag, or, they could help a lot with the congestion that happens at roundstart with 16+ people. Only way to know is to test it out.
