Thread: Get Better Reg on the Server

Oh yes it is possible and here's how.

Bring down your console and type these commands into it if you feel you are getting bad reg at any time.

cl_interp 0

cl_interpolate 0

cl_lagcomp_errorcheck 1

cl_cmdrate 100

cl_updaterate 100

cl_rate 20000

cl_smooth 0

rate 25000

zoom_sensitivity_ratio 0.76


Ive got these commands bounded to 1 key so that when i hit it they all go into affect immediately. If you want the binding sequence would be: bind "key" "cl_interp 0; cl_interpolate 0; cl_lagcomp_errorcheck 1; cl_cmdrate 100; cl_updaterate 100; cl_rate 20000; cl_smooth 0; rate 25000; zoom_sensitivity_ratio 0.76"

the zoom sens is only for awps/scouts so it could help those players as well. Ive been tinkering with this set up and the default one for a week now and it does help you just gotta be smart and know when to use it.

You (or any1 else) wouldn't happen to have a command or know a way to reset all the console commands, would you?

When the map changes it will restore all settings in your autoexec.cfg. if you want a completely blank slate you have to delete your cstrike/cfg folder and steam will make a new one once you start up the game again.

Before anyone blindly does this without fully knowing what it does, let me just say this: This command has nothing to do with registry at all. All this command does is multiply your normal sensitivity so that when you scope or zoom in, your apparent sensitivity doesn't throw you off. So unless you want to change the sensitivity that you're used to when using the aug, krieg, auto snipers, scout, or awp, I wouldn't suggest changing this from what it is.

updaterate and cmdrate should, by default thanks to the port to the OB engine, be capped at 66/67 for servers and players alike from what i remember.

I wanna bind that to one of my gkeys, but i dont recall being able to bind my gkeys with css...

anyone got the command to get rid of the dead bodies? those things always seem get in my way or i dont shoot cause i think its a dead body

The gkeys don't have specific key values. You can bind the g keys to to specific keys or combinations/sequences of keys, but not directly to functions.

The problem I see on TPG is that the outbound bandwidth is failing to deliver enough packets when the servers are full.
