    Re: A call for change

Here's what I have to say. Here recently, people complain about me saying what I'm going to do or where I'm going as a CT.

People say it's not "pertinent information".....look, these are TeamPlay servers ...and there's nothing wrong with that kind of information coming over the microphone. So, to those of you who seem to have an issue with it...tough.

Look at radar before and after you say it. More often than not you will see the little white triangles indicating where a player on your team is looking move in the direction you just called out. Occasionaly this will cause people to over stack a site. Just gotta make sure that when you say that you have people that can split sites well.

More people need to listen on CT. Just because your playing CT doesn't mean there aren't calls made. I'm tired of trying to play CT, trying to make some calls, and being completely ignored, even by 'regs'.

    Re: A call for change

I read some of the posts here, the first page or so but I must say I agree with the attitudes. So many high horse riders.... I am maybe a 1:1 css player, and follow calls as much as I can really understand. Certain maps I know very well and some I flounder, but give it my best. Recently I was at mid on a map (maybe fire). I was keeping cover and aiting for a call, watching a long hallway. Sudenly the call is B!!!!! all good, so I come back up the hall to rush towards B. I accidently block someone, too many people in a tight choke, traffic. Unfortunately said played dies, maybe not due to block but it didnt help..... I felt bad but after the round (which we, cts, won) I get torn a new one. Like I mentioned I am not a great.... not even really good at source. I do have a decent understanding of the game as I have more hours than I would like to admitt playing 1.3-1.5. I follow the call and play as smart as I can..... of course still not "great".

It is one of those things where I have been playing a bit of css and am considering a R slot, but with the attitude I receive its kinda dropped off..... I am enjoying CSS and in time I am sure I can elevate on maps I dont know that well but if I am gonna get berated for accidently causing some traffic when rushing towards the objective.......idk

    Re: A call for change

    Gonzo,

Not saying this is the case in your example, but some players have a habit of stopping in the choke point you mention to try to get a pick on one player. All that does is block the rest of your team in that choke point to get them killed. I yell when people do this, so hopefully they hear what I am saying and don't do it again.

CS:S is so different than any other game we play because ONE player can have a major impact on blowing a round. Then losing one round has such an impact on the next round(s). Because of this one mistake is magnified 100 fold.

    Re: A call for change

All these points and many posts like this have popped up on these forums since I started playing here. I am a forum creeper I read almost every thing. Although I am drunk 99.9% of the time I pay attention and record a demo almost every map. If something needs to change it has to with the 50000000+ admins tpg has. I know there's disputes between admins because they have been on the server arguing with each other and breaking server rules by disrupting play (i have only encountered this twice). I have encountered many admins not giving warnings and that needs to be addressed on the admin abuse forums by the people involved.

I read admin abuse forums and every time it seems some admins just jump on the attack mode for what "said poster did wrong trying to justify their abuse before looking at what they did wrong." It's hard to post because of server admin rules, so I am sure people don't want to post admin abuse for said reasons. I can go off like crazy but I hate typing so, long story short.

There are good/great/awesome admins, there are admins that don't do much unless they r in a mood, theres bad/horrible admins and I am sure there are ignorant admins that have no idea what to do except blow other admins (sorry this is another reason i don't post). Communications between admins need to increase and bad/horrible admins need to go because they don't help the community grow, and there are high ranking admins in the bad category (you know who you r as well as other admins know you too).

ok, long story short. Maybe I am wrong about EVERYTHING! I use to help run a server and be apart of a huge community, not as strict as this one and I know the working of a community like this one. I went to prison for a little while and in my absence the previous owners killed it. Trauma introduced me after I got out and was like it's cool. I was a noob I was like any other clownshoe to come on "wtf a public server where we follow calls" SLAYED! I am a rager when I get slayed (that didn't go over so well). I didn't get banned because if your an old school gamer like me You enjoy new elements of a game you've played for 13 years. I conformed and within 48 hours I was calling.

long story short. Regulars/non admins on tpg need to help out as well. I try and tell new people server rules and talk to them like a HUMAN BEING not a power hungry admin (tpg have those as well, not mentioned previously). We need to remember it is a game for enjoyment. After I kick my g/fs ass it always makes me feel better shooting people in the face virtually and interacting with other humans cause they said I shouldn't irl.

long story short. You will get ragers on the server, everyone rages! I know not everyone wants to lose but It's part of the game, enjoy shooting people (can't win every time)! I rage just when some admin mutes me for said reasons before this post
Here's what I have to say. Here recently, people complain about me saying what I'm going to do or where I'm going as a CT.

. So why do admins not address regulars on steam friends or admin chat Does admin chat go only to admins they can't address players back? STEAM FRIENDS!!! It takes admins some times 5 rounds to address issues like server disruptions. Admin chat only works one way, then any time admin abuser abuses the recipient needs to take it to the forums or they might get disrupting the server because of admin rules. If it's a regular why can't admins take it to a lvl of personability??

long story short. I have been playing here for a while and I think I have added a lot of elements of game play that weren't being utilized. Spawn positions, "money fucking cts" (thats what I say in game yes), letting people know where I am going as a ct which was pointed out earlier (i have been yelled at for this as well), awp go off on your own or some where I know they will be useful instead of rushing as a t with it, and it's a game I play to win and have fun fun first. I might just be big headed and think I brought these elements to tpg which probably isn't true.

long story short. There are admins that just want a straight forward serious gaming experience, ones that want to have fun, and ones that want a fun serious gaming experience. Maybe admins should get on the fun serious gaming. I am always try hard pants, i take css so serious i can't contain it in this css body. ADMINS take a good look at yourselves, only you can prevent server decline and increase because ultimately you control the servers.

    1606!!!!!!!!!
