Voice Server for CSS

Is there one? I haven't found it if there is. If not then I'd look at either of these.

CSS has perfectly working in game VOIP. What purpose would a 3rd party program serve?

A lot of clans here have their own vent server if youre looking for people to chat it up with, but I dont see how it would add to the game.

by the way TPG hosts a teamspeak server and has channels for several games that our regulars play like world of tanks or dayz.

Also a manager built in for broken VOIP games like bf3 and back in the days bc2.

But CSS has a working VOIP and if you are attempting to talk to someone who you cant already talk to in css about css its probably ghosting.

That was an oh boy as in oh boy how do I explain to this person how they are incorrect without being an asshole but I suppose we've already crossed that line. Communication is a very important key to successful teamwork and the in-game VOIP is not "perfectly good".

1. It does not allow for team communication after death. Caller/team leaders still need to be able to give good instructions/advice even after death and in-game VOIP prevents this. Also other team members can provide good information like if the last man standing on the other team is lit or not.

2. Pretty bad delay. In-game voice takes forever to actually deliver the voice after the fact. Ventrilo is more effective.

3. More fun. The game doesn't stop after you hit disconnect. You can still just hang out with people outside of the game (besides these very slow forums :P).

Go play a game and then come back and try again. Better yet get out of open. I'm bored.

second half of number 1 is called ghosting. thats against the rules.

the final one is already existent on our TS server if you want. there are also several "hangout" type voip's going on. get to know the people here some more, and im sure some1 will invite you to chat with them.

Otherwise chatting with some1 in game from out of the game in the same channel where strats are being called is nono.
