I've been here practically since the beginning, and an admin for almost as long. You DO NOT ban people for RTVing...even a kick is a bit nuch.

Go back and read my first post on the subject, I'm fully aware that it would be a temp ban. That doesn't make the idea any less worse.

What's next ....are you going to advocate banning people for their weapon choices?

Banning someone simply because they typed rtv is a horrible idea....and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks so.

So much drama over the silliest things around here, I swear. Bans are only issued for non-teamplay, racist remarks, and things of that nature. Are players who rtv because they don't like the map bitch-ass pussies who like to play peek and poke up in the treehouse with their male friends? Most definitely. But, it's not a bannable offense.

Plus, I'm unsure if an ESEA mod would work with our admin mod (Sourcemod, if memory serves). Not saying it would or wouldn't, but it's something to consider.

The CSS admins have a discussion in the works on this very issue. We're simply going to raise the rtv % to where it takes more than 13/22 people to, most likely, 17/22 people would need to rtv. Although it won't stop the whining and bitching (which will happen regardless of what we have in place), this should help to deter the rampant amount of rtving that has been shown in the servers for a while now.

rtv % raised to 75%, or 16/22 players required.
