Just stoppin in and saying hi! Little bit about me. I moved to texas last year from ny, now living in Frisco TX. Long time player of CS that took a break for a year but back into it.

Oh and if anyone has any ideas to get my fps up on vista, let me know.

My specs:

core 2 duo E6600
2gb 667 ram
EVGA 8800gts vid
xfi sound blaster
400 gb sata hd

There should be no reason why I am only getting 28-65 fps.

One last thing, if anyone wants tickets to the Kenny Chesney concert get a hold of me. Im not going.

I've tried lowering the rates, tweaking it, but i have it set at 30000 right now

I think I have fixed the problem. I did some research and found this:

So It's vista that was making me lag.

I did a video stress test and now IM GETTING 80-100 FPS!!!! YEAH BABY! Time to test it out!
