    X800 XT PE.

ATI's run HL2 games better, and have been putting out the best-in-generation cards for about the last 2 or 3 generations.

Nothing....absolutely nothing beats an ATI 1900 XT.

It was the same with an ATI 850, and probably also true about the ATI 9800XT.

And now that Nvidia no longer has the SLI option to keep iot exclusive (since ATI now has "crossfire", same as SLI but more configurable)......nividia is in a bad spot.

Tom's hardware has the easiest guides for finding who makes the best what. CPU's, G-cards, motherboards.....it's all there.

    go read it.

steve what settings do you run CS at? If its highest settings with 1280x1024, than you have a pretty damn good card...and by the way, when you right-clivk on the My Computer thing there's a hardware tab at the top of that window. Click on that, then click on device manager, and finally display adapters. It should be there. Or if you want to get more technical you could type "dxdiag" into 'run' in the start menu and then click on the 'display' tab...it will tell you more about your video card than that other method

Yeah... Nvidia Geforce 7800 GTX here.

    All good and shit.

CS is all easy for me.
    1600x1200 4 AA 8 Anistropic... stickin at 78 fps with V-Sync, nigga.

Unless... it's militia and nuke... meh, I think part of that has something to do with my RAM...
