What Video Card do you Prefer

steve your card is okay. of course there are betterones but i wouldnt mind having your card

hdr is supposed to be the next-gen gaming thing...i can't run it anyway because I only get 30 fps nad i boots your fps down about 10 frames...and i can't really play on 20fps. It seems like they went WAY WAY overboard with the HDR though, especially in a wartime environment. Everything would be kinda hazy anyway. HDR will be perfect for games like Halo 2 which btw only freaking comes out for Windows Vista...fucking Microsoft

i always play at about 20 fps... max. i'm used to it. and i play without HDR.

and... halo sucks.

Moo, what you have isn't even considered an upgrade, it's called a samegrade.
And upgrade is going from a geforce 6200 playin at 15-24 fps to something like a 7800 which it's 5 times the power... if I had no v-sync I'd be like living in teh 100's.

... a 200... a $200 card..... it....... it's at least better than a radeon 9550 right? ... right?

hell... i know that monkey has the shittier version of the card (128, and slightly slower, i believe)... he gets around 80 fps...

ATI, my only beef with them though is the quality of their software. Their driver interface is sketchy at best (their programs always give my computers issues) but was most apparant in their supplementary software for the 9800 PRO AIW on my desktop. Since my laptop only has the x700 mobile, I've been completely fine.
