I have to say, I've not heard many good things about TOB on consoles. I'm pretty sure you could pick up a PC capable of running the game for not an awful lot of cash though. £150 would probably be enough if you had a good hunt around on ebay - it only needs Dx8, 1.7gHz and 512MB RAM.

Hmm, the only thing I'm doubting about my computer is whether the graphics card is good enough.

It's a Intel GMA X3100.

I *think* you should be OK. According to Wikipedia, it supports DX10, and TF2 only needs 8. I certainly can't see any reason why it shouldn't work, assuming there are no issues with bootcamp etc.

Just get a sub $100 PCI/E video card and you'll be golden.

The problem with getting a new video card is that you can't replace them in Macbooks. They solder them in :/. I know kind of stupid, and they only do it with the laptops, not with the desktops, so I don't really get it.

Anyway, I'll see what happens. I'll probably work on it over the summer, since my school's connection isn't good enough to download the games anyway.

I really don't see whats wrong with console gaming. Everyone disses it. The main argument is PC's good, console's crap. 'Nuff said. I don't see why there is so much "console gaming is the anti-christ" type of hate

I'm am a console gamer, but my options are actually limited at the moment. I'm at boarding school, so I can't have my 360 here. Also Team Fortress 2's only strong community is on the PC, so if I want to play that that's where I'll go. I'm not sure precisely why TF2 never developed a console community, but luckily L4D doesn't seem to be going that direction.
