Extend Map? Fine - Flip the teams
I've posted about this in the past and I'm going to bring it up again because I think its a dandy idea.
Extend votes pass pretty often by my estimation and experience and in my opinion, when a map cycle is extend 50% by a simple majority it tends to dull things out. Maps like dust2, office, italy etc can be really fun or really lame depending on the side of the action you are on.
I'd love to see the occasional vote of "Should the Teams be Reversed?" thrown up after an extend vote passes when one team is getting railroaded.
If the T's on Aztec, for example, are getting mud-hole stomped round after round and the map vote appears, lots of the CTs, who are enjoying good scores, will vote for extend...from there, what typically happens is the T's vote for whatever map they so desire and the opinions vary on what that map should be and the extend vote passes and the T's, doing as much as they know how to do, continue to get pounded.
What if a vote appeared asking if teams should be flip-flopped? Give those CT's who have been enjoying the good life a taste of double-door grenade love...a good bridge sniper team or a dirty water camper or two.
I just love variety and map extend votes hurt that in my eyes.
THanks!

Re: Extend Map? Fine - Flip the teams
you would need a much lower passing % on the flip team vote. All the ones that voted to extend, would not vote to flip sides.
or
just require a higher % to pass the extend vote so that 1 side can't extend by themselves, it would require votes from both sides.

Re: Extend Map? Fine - Flip the teams
What if the admins used the team switch plugin thing. Take both teams and completely switch them all at once.
That would be Ub3r.
