POLL: Map Extend and Team Reversing

This thread (http://www.texasteamplayers.com/index.php?topic=21112.0) was getting some good attention and Agent suggested a poll so I'm posting one.

My supposition is that if a map is extended then the players should be given the option to vote for reversing the teams.

Every T becomes a CT and vice versa.

The vote could read something like:

"Should the teams be reversed?"

1 - Yes
2 - No

This isn't a CAL match where you switch sides .... if they want to extend, they can stay on the same team... It's just too much hassle and a waste of time.

I can see what you mean, but it's a simple plug-in. and the people voting to extend would stay on the same team anyways because they are winning.

Take into account a situation that we know all too often, one team is winning by a rather large margin, and a mapvote comes up, of course the winning team will vote to extend the map, and the losing team will want to either A: switch the map, or B: keep the map extended but play on the opposite side.

This will add a whole new variation to TTP, and will please many of our regulars and the overall populace.

It's a simple plugin.

I respect your opinion but disagree...its 2 more admin commands - 1 if the results of the vote are linked to the plugin command that flips the teams automatically.

So wait.... That doesn't make sense... If your switching teams, then why would the people who vote to extend not switch? If your going to make a script like that EVERYONE needs to switch, regardless if your winning, voted to extend, or whatever. I still vote no.

I like the idea and all, but i just don't think it will work out... Too many people will bitch.

If the majority of the server votes to extend... Then the server as a whole is having a fun time on the side they're on. Just cause 3-4 people are getting waxed and not having fun, doesn't mean you should switch everybody.

If they vote to extend, they are simply having a blast on the team they are on and really do not need to be switched.

Thats my philosophy.
