Back to a 20 man?

Wondering if everyone thinks we should take the server back down to a 20 man.

A) The lag with 24 is to much

B) The spawn points are all weird

C) It's harder to control from an admin standpoint with 24 it seems than with 20

My worry is that since we've gone 24 we've had our biggest days ever, and most "real" CS servers are 24. We seem to have no problem filling it up either.

Maybe I just had a bad night last night.....

Thoughts?

now...really the choke issue is not being resolved. We should inquire with AoW about setting up a new IP to test out. That, or we need to get some other Dallas AoW IP's and see if we're getting the same levels of choke.

In addition, it appears that VAC is having little effect. It worked for the first few weeks or so....but now, especially last night and the night before.....soemthing aint right.

You don't swat team your ass into the house on italy and consistently pull out wins. Especially when it's against sjt, hub, bigdog, OD, G7, and 4-5 other members of our team that are agreeing to camp it up.

Same with dust2. you don't stop a rush of 12 T's to the left with one man squatting in the window and a single flashbang. All I ever saw most of the time was a flashbang, and then when I could see again, everyone behind me was dead. By 1-2 people. And that's bs, with the levels of choke/lag that we're having.

In addition to most regulars noticing that they're having trouble getting their hits in recently, and it appears that last night we had 6 people, and the night before 4, that had absolutely no trouble at all.

It's time for admins with the powers to ban to stop holding back. VAC is an assistant, but go back to going with your gut.

I don't have bad days. And last night, I certainly didn't have a bad team. And If I'm choking, then everyone is choking. The reason why we got our asses smacked down so bad yesterday had nothing to do with skills and pwning. We did it right, everytime. They were cheating.

I agree with BD. It was a bunch of horseshit last night and the choke didn't help out either. I also agree with sjt about lowering the server slots from 24 to 20. We either do that or do what bigdog said and tryout another IP from AoW in Dallas.....Only if they had AoW in Houston...hot damn!

Seriously admins, let the bans begin again, go with your gut.

I am 100% opposed to another IP, that would be like starting all over, we've done that before, and never again.

We have to get ours fixed.

I dont think we should go to 20, i like the server being a 24 man cause it brings people in and it gets crazy, I don't think VAC does a damn thing or maybe it did and its already been hacked so its effect is totally lost.

We don't need VAC....I got your VAC System right here in the press of a button, VACuum your ass outta the server! (in other words kick/ban) and my eyes plus, BD, SJT, JAN, OD, G7, VAC has nothing on our homemade VAC system.

that, and the VAC steam forum having a flood of "vac not working" posts in the lasdt 2 days. The exact days that we've all of a sudden started getting our asses handed to us.

target #1. Thanks for volunteering. I'm gonna start being like sjt. Whatever team your on.....I'm on the other side. And I'll force maps like dust, aztec, or cbble, where I can go either side and still murder fools.

Nobody puts bigdog below 1000. That's even worse than putting baby in the corner.
