Thread: Crosshair

I have my crosshair set to the "small" setting and the size works okay for me, but I have a problem seeing it. It isn't that the crosshair is to small, it's mainly the color. I have the "transparent" setting off, but it still isn't vey solid colored. Is there some way to change this in-game? Are there crosshair skins I can get? Would these skins be legal in some kind of tournament?

I've tried changing the color, but that only helps on certain maps.

you can change your crosshair color in game by hitting esc and going to options. also, if you need to adjust the size of your crosshair, type cl_crosshairscale ______. The higher the number, the smaller your corsshairs will be. As for not being able to see them on some maps, well that is something that you have to tinker with. You just need to find out which color works the best on the map that you are on. Ive found green for dust2 and light blue for Italy.

i have the exact same problem.... and my crosshair is at 2000. does anyone know if there's a way to make it darker?

Crosshair color plays a big part in being able to see it, but touching up on what Duddy said, it pretty much depends on where you are. Green and, wouldn't think it but, yellow can be seen on a good amount of the maps. I'm sure you can google it and find a black, white or any other color crosshair for testing.

sounds like I'll just change it at the beginning of some maps. Blue will probably work for most of them.

The only map I have had trouble with blue on is office.

And the only maps I have problems with yellow are with the dusts.

I have mine one blue and it works everywhere, never had a problem seeing it

lol it doesnt look like what he has is entirely a color porblem

i keep my crosshairscale on 15000 and have the collor on Light Blue and its transulent (however you spell it). That works for me on every map.
