My playername is Wong.swk. OBVIOUSLY, I'm of asian decent. People don't need to point that out by making jokes or stupid, insensitive, RACIST remarks. Have a LITTLE respect. ESPECIALLY, if it's some pre-pubescent, 14 year-old kid.

I've taken my share of light hearted jokes and remarks. I make them myself from time to time, but always in an obviously light-hearted fashion. But "Biff" (steamID above) didn't do it light heartedly, and when i called him out on it, he didn't apologize, or even acknowledge me.

Do what you want with this post, or even me. I just thought you all should know. I've been a reg on your server for about a month, and i love playing there. Most of the regs are awesome, and actually have a good time playing. But its kids/ inconsiderate people like this that just ruin this damn game for me. NO respect for others, and NO sportsmanship.

Wong, it's good to see you on the forums, and it's unfortunate that it took this sort of incident to bring you here. Rest assured that if he does anything like that again, he'll be gone pretty damn quickly. In the meantime, stick around the forums, and check out the various stickies in the respective game forums, and maybe even give some Articles a read (http://www.texasteamplayers.com/index.php?cat=47).

What date did this occur and at what time (approximately). Once I have that info, we will look into this further. TTP does not tolerate racism on our servers.

it happened about 9:30 CST on the map Port, this evening. So it just happened. It was spoken over voice chat, and i responded over voice chat, then i typed a response in teamsay.

It wasn't anything flagrant. i scouted an awper who was demolishing our team, and he said, "nice kill, Wong.. wang chung...." I replied, "seriously?! did you honestly have to say that?"

I know it doesn't seem like much in text, but when i heard it, it just set me off. I don't really know why. I'm usually quite tolerant of jokes, but this one offended me. My original post was a little heated. Mostly because i was a bit pissed off. His tone was really inconsiderate and insensitive.

That's all there was to it, really.

Biff is still a child....I am sure if he reads this, he will apologize. I was under the impression he called you something of a deragotory nature. He probably was attempting to make a joke and it went wrong.

Agent might have something to say about this (hes asian)...he is very tolerant of asian jokes and might be able to shed some light for you.

Wong, first off let me say that im glad to see you on TTP. Secondly, i understand your argument, but you have to understand that we are a very tolerant community. We DO NOT by any means accept the "n" word or anything of that nature. That results in a ban for certain, but Biff is, like Tony says, still a child and he is used to being able to crack certain jokes without punishment. If you wish to become a part of TTP you may have to just loosen up a bit. We poke fun at each other ALL the time, its just part of the game and part of our community.
