I think the buy timer is fine @ 30 seconds. And no delay----learn to buy faster. I, too, can manually and still be ready before it's time to rock-n-roll.

Also, multiple times, I know I've been on a team and I start moving one way, smoke, nade, and/or flash the area, then cutback through spawn, rebuy my nades, and head the other way.

My favorite nade spam is the CT rush on Italy, just sitting in window throwing nades out towards long or mid. Good Times. If your going to try to rush right away, if i got a box of nades in front of me that cost 300$ and there are 10 CTs coming at me. I am gonna buy every single grenade I can.

Nade spaming, running back to spawn to rebuy armor that was lost in a firefight... comeon you guys cant be serious about having such a long buy time?

Whats wrong with having a 15 second round start delay time? It gives the team time to plan and time to buy then the round starts and everyones off, no need to still be in spawn buying...
Pineapple why learn to buy faster when a delay to the round start can be put in? What about all the non regs that come in and sit at spawn for 40 seconds still buying? Its not them thats being punished, its the team that suffers.

Why not FORCE (as opposed to encourage) players to buy and leave spawn, have the time before the round the only buy time then after round start they have no business being in spawn...

I seriously feel that this is contradicts the TTP way that i have experienced so far, its so absurd to say that you guys find it fair to allow a player to remain in spawn and nade spam, on maps like d2 its virtuously impossible to defeat at the crossing and completely unfair to the other team. At best you can MAYBE get close enough to ricochet a nade into the ct spawn at the cost of your life, MAYBE the nade might take some of their armor away, but thats ok they can just rebuy the armor...

This will help encourage buying faster and will help on maps like dust2 where its crucial to have the entire team ready and out of spawn as soon as the round starts....

Other wise you cannot tell me its fair if somone sits in the house on italy and nade spams mid or something agent? 5k of nades can go a long way vs 10 people T_T....
i think a delay time of 5 seconds is plenty, gives everyone a chance to think about what to buy and gives the caller(s) time to decide where to go. plus if there is a 10-15 s buy timer it gives late comers a chance to buy something rather than toughing it out with a stupid glock. But admins voice is the almighty and powerful "it", you cant argue with "it" but you can suggest, am i right

Yeah I've always wondered why our server has no delay time in the beginning of rounds, it would help rushes work better and probably even promote more organization by everyone, instead of having 5 people hit f1 and run the way they are facing when they spawn then having to turn around cause the call was in the other direction.

    Re: Nade Spamming

I think we have a slight delay when we spawn before we can move, correct? If not a 3-5 second dealy would help with calls fo sho.
Also, 30 seconds seems fine to me on buy times. 90 seconds is way to long, but 15 seems too quick, If you take a quick piss at least you have time to still buy. :P
    I like just right. :9

    Login Issue

Whenever I try to reply to a post I get a notice to login after I had already done so!
Then after typing in my username / password I get a reply stating "I'm not currently logged in or I'm not authorized to post a reply.
A glitch in the system surely, but a really irksome one indeed.
It's happened 3 different times already.

Has anybody else had this problem?
