Back to Basics
A trend has been showing up that is pissing quite a few people off. And rightfully so. The basis of Texas Team Players is naturally
TEAM PLAYING
We are having very little communication. You need to be communicating at all times. Where you are, where your going, who you see, what your doing, what they are doing. Not having a microphone is not an excuse. At the begining of a round there will be a call made. That is the call you go with. You can plan when you are dead. You are not a martyr, you need to follow the call or the team will fail. YOU ARE A TEAM
TTP has hundreds of unique vistits a week on our cs servers. TTP doesn't need you, and TTP will get rid of you. Regardless on how long you have been here. BD laid it out.

Re: Back to Basics
please highlight this thread.
If I hadnt' found TTP, I don't know if I'd still be playing CSS. It's changed my entire viewpoint on how team-based games should be played: as a team. Always.
For the most part, everyone on here is 10x the teamplayer you'd find in a normal pub. But sometimes, on some maps, against some teams, that's not enough. And you have to step up your communication in order to win against tougher teams or on different maps.
Regardless...I've got to say that I'm tired of the bickering I've seen go back and forth these past few days. Children is what you guys are acting like. The whole "who is the best css player" and "best communicator" things went to some of ya'lls heads and one flame got thrown and now it looks as though we have a fire here that's gonna be pretty tough to put out.
Just remember: each of you guys (and I don't have to point fingers here) helped to start that fire rather than prevent it. Clans & friends aside, these petty fights were ruining the image of TTP.
Imagine if you were a player who first came to TTP and those threads were some of the first you read. What kind of example are we setting for the server when even our regulars can't get along? Man up guys...swallow your pride, and lets move on. You're all great players in your own right. Now stop fighting and show it.

Re: Back to Basics
haha there you go.
Actually...I like the "wall of shame" idea. maybe a "biggest douche of week" vote based on screenshots people take....
I can see one of the shots now I'm going to take on a B rush on D2 after I'm dead: all these red X's on the entrance to B and I'm going to take a picture of the 4 guys who decided they'd stairs.....

Re: Back to Basics
Thank you BigDog and sjt, today i get out and guess what happens? I start up and there was a lot more team play, comunication, no more garbage men. I have never seen team play at this level since i joined. This must have been going on for a while, i believe after you left the future generation may have not been passed down your vision of team play and i have never had so much fun playing on the servers. Many people have been complain and beotching about you kicking down the law, but You guys rock for macking the best Team play servers!
And also ever since teamplay has had a great boost, i have seen some of the teams with the weaker players putting a greater effort and actualtly taking out some of the big shots of ttp on the other team. I was playing on t on dust and we where dominating, i saw this and decided to go ct to help them out, it didnt go smooth untill the 6 round (6/0) and we turned it around and be broken even at the end of the map. Yesterday day was a great day for ttp, Long live TTP.
