It was ELIMINATED in patches from source long ago....so anyone that is still doing it is either celebrating the exitence of exploits and CHEATING, or IS A CHEATER.

neither is acceptable. It would be the same as if you tried to bunny hop. Doesn't matter if the advantage of bunny hopping is gone. The mere fact that you are doing it indicates you are a cheater, that you enjoy cheating, that you look up cheats, or all of the above.
This means if you have a sniper rifle, and you shoot, then hit q twice, you will be banned. Same with bunny hopping. Just putting this up so this isn't news to anyone, I don't want to be banned, and I don't want you to be banned. And yes they know that patches fixed the ability to make a difference on this.

I banned rage for doing this, and I'll ban anyone else I see. It's a known exploit, regardless of whether it still offers ANY benefit whatsoever (and it does NOT).

The only reason you do it is because you either used to be a cheater, you support cheating, you are a cheater, or you frequent outdated cheating websites. None of that is my, or TTP's problem.

bunny hopping isn't even possible. Jumping up and down isn't bunny hopping. Jumping and crouching isn't bunny hopping. Bunny hopping gives a ridiculous speed advantage when moving forward and doesn't require slopes or ramps to do it.

it's not possible....so people that are still doing are simply ex-cheaters, or current cheaters without brains.

    do it, and get banned.

for what purpose? When you fire, your scope comes off.

If you have some close quarters combat coming up...it makes sense to do this. But if you don't......then WHY are you switching to another weapon immediately after you fire?

    why?

I guess I should stop sniping in general cause I made habit out of hitting Q to see if someone is coming up on the bomb to my side or something like that.

for example on italy, when im on T most people know that I usually camp outside the apt with a scout and I only use the first zoom to look at the apt door way and then hit q to avoid the second zoom to be able to look to the left to look at mid/long hall without wasting time. Just making sure shortcut like this isn't bannable since this week was the first time seeing people get ban for those quick load.

I would appreciate a clear up on this too.. it's a way to skip that 2nd zoom as master said..

I seem to remember that before 3 years ago it was useful because the "Quick scope" way of shooting was popular but they made the accuracy of the "Quick scope" way of shooting equivalent to the "No-Scope" accuracy making it semi-usable for scouts but not at all for AWP's....

Other than these reasons I just see people doing it out of habit from the old days...

Re: Quick Switching and Bunny Hopping

I've done the same oni as a habit. Hell most of us here have played for over 10 years. COUNTER STRIKE. I guess I must break a few habbits. For instance when I'm rushing on cbble down the ramp to go to mid and rush mid form ct side I jump on the ramp and jump again to get quicker rush to get down mid. Bunnyhopping is something I never could master. Buts quick jump I got pretty good at. As far as the awp and quick switching I believe that over 75 % of us do it. I do. Sorry but this post kinda suprised me. I will change my habbits. I'm glad I read this as well. Tell all you fellow clanmates and ttp regs about this cause I know of about 50 people off the top of my head that do it. So if you see it tell em to stop and not to continue. This post make's perfect sense actually, play the game as it was designed to play. The quick switch and b=hop are glitches in my eyes as well. Pass it on boys.
