Thread: admin plugin

So does anyone know how to block the admin plugins? I think i have enough mp3s loaded, it just frustrates me a little when I have to wait 3 minutes for new admin plugins.. Is there a way to do this?

you have all the songs on our server by now.....there's no way you are waiting 3 minutes for anything on our server. As well, with sv_downloardurl running.....our downloads take seconds, not minutes.

if you want to block the downloads, you can add lines to your config.cfg which will block the server from sending you files.

I think it's cl_allowdownload or cl_allowupload. Something like that.

Unfortunately oftentimes it does take minutes.. It may be that I dont have enough ram. Keep in mind it would take 45 minutes for a Red Orchastra map to load.

And yes I figured I had all the songs, but non the less I still found it having to download some.

time to ask the wife permission to fund a new rig...

Well I appreciate the advise but when I have to download "hitthefloor" and others again and again, despite the fact that I already have them then I think ttheir is something else going on.. Its seems to be de_chateau, every time I jjoin, I have to load the same songs every time and seeing that I dont have the rig I would l like right now, I would prefer just to block any new downloads. If it took a minute it would be ok but it takes mine closer to 3-4 minutes

Keep in mind that Motd doesnt work for me either, since this website doesnt work on my gaming rig (same prob Jello has).

I dont deny that... hell my dust2 map still doesnt work, hasnt in forever...
