Thread: hit box needs to be fix

the hit boxes in the server need to be fixed because the casue some unreal kills. for example, if i straif to the left or right to go behind a wall, i will be killed because my hitbox is still in the open. i think this is a problem and i'm sure everyone else can agree to this. i'm hoping this will be fixed soon. (aka....the equalizer)

It isnt a server problem. It's a CS:S problem. These hitboxes are the cause of many hack accusation, and are also the cause of many riggs being yelled at, and possibly thrown several yards. Anyways, if this were a server problem (which it isnt) they would already have it fixed or would be working hard to do so. So i guess "Dont hate the player, hate the game" really does come into effect here.

no its not silly. there has been many times where i have been killed like this and i'm sure alot of other people can say thats happened to them too.

Haha no that's not really a silly post.
The hitbox thing got me on thursday. I was playin and i think koopa was shooting at some guy through a window in CS_Office. And i'm behind a wall and suddenly I get shot and killed and i wasn't even visible to him. It was pretty much Bs.

you guys are forgetting, the M4 and the AK go through walls.... I shoot through doors, boxes, and walls all the time. If i see somebody go behind it, i blast it... and im gunna get the kill for it.

My descrepency isnt with the shooting through boxes or doors. It's with the fact that i strafe out from behind that rock in front yard militia or from around a "bricked walled" corner, then when i strafe back behind them, I get hs and my corps lies out in the open when i was clearly already out of sight. I understand why this happens, I was just venting that its pretty gay.

In the server?
Dude, for the hit box to be changed for this server... that means you'd have to download a completely different model, and have you downloaded any models from TTP yet?
TTP is no different from most any other server... (Model wise)
And what Hub stated, you can get hit through walls, I do it on a fair occasion as well.
