As far as actual sequel names, I don't think there are any good ones. Left 4 Dead carries several meanings- the obvious "left for dead", which is more of a singular "i'm going to die in this dangerous situation without others beside me", and "they left four [inevitably] dead", which is more of a "the entire world has died off/escaped, and the four of us are all that's left".

I may be looking at the weasel under the coffee table, but I like the name. I can't think of any other names with double meanings like that.

Me and my friends have a joke with Left 2 Die.

"How come you can only do 2 player split screen? It's called Left 4 Dead, not Left 2 Die."

Also, they could keep it simple... they went from Counter Strike to Counter Strike: Source. They could do something similar here, depending on the name of the next engine Valve uses.

Sequel ideas:

Left 4 dead 2 (Simple, but easily understood)

Left 5 dead (Surreal, yet it looks like it might work)

Left 4 dead: Zombie Apocalypse (Reference to Bill's ficticious appearence during the Zombie Apolcalpyse during his earlier years).
