Thread: Best way to get over slumps:

Use a gun you normally don't.

I was in a huge slump, I was getting my ass handed to me on strike, so I pulled out the galil, and end up with a positve KDR, like 30-25, when I started 1-8. Next round on nuke, I start 30-5, and my slump is over. Trying this out more often, If you can't get kills one day with the m4/ak, pull out that tmp, galil, aug, 5-7, EVEN THE UMP . . . I don't know, it helps me :1

People don't give the UMP enough credit though, it's a good gun, but you have to know how and when to use it. I just prefer the p90 over most of the other SMGs though as it is highly effective. But it is good to use all the other guns, helps keep the game more interesting.

Yeah I wouldn't use it in a scrim because most of the maps you scrim on aren't really meant for the gun. The only way I'd see someone using it then is if they really knew how to use the gun and had a deagle for back up or they were screwing around.
