Im Growing Tired of...

All these noobs running around the server just shooting shit and not playing smart. Where are all the OG regs at? BigTex, C2C, tR, BD, KB? This is driving me nuts. Its hard to be tactical when your team is rushing in a door your trying to creep in.

Italy for example. I run in apts. and wait for movement or sound. Thats the smart thing to do. What gets me is when im sl0w walking in there, and one of my teamates comes in from behind full speed and gets shot and gives away our position.

Not just that, its hard to keep the server running smoothly without other regs helping police it. If there is only one admin on, he has no idea what is going on in the other team.

I miss the days when Bigdog, Sjt, Odawgg, Bighub, Vafa, Mafia, Sambo, Digital :P , Big-D , Wolf... all the real deal OG's....Would make calls and yell and play as a real strong team...

Please come back all you forgoten OG's....Please.......I miss the way things were back in '05....

I don't know if this was meant to compliment those you listed, or ridicule anyone you didn't, so i will assume the former.

As a total and complete noob who tries to support the TTP way I am sick of the regs that act like since they have been playing this game since the 70s (slight exaggeration) that everyone else has been too. I suck. I flat out admit I suck, but I always try to do my best to help my team. I also try to learn from the people who are experienced. I appreciate guys like Hub, Pine, Bunni, Alpine, Vafa, Fajita, and many others who have offered to help me instead of just ridicule me.

Why don't you help to teach the next wave of OGs instead of hoping things will never change?

Im not ridiculing anyone. I know your new to CSS, ive seen you on. I've never told you anything to make you feel less.

I also hate the players that have been playing at TTP for a while and dont have mics. Its frustrating having one or two guys on the team calling shots and enemy positions. Why even buy a multiplayer game if you arnt going to interact with the team?

The OG's I mentioned are the ones that showed me how to play the game. Shit, I bought a mic 3 days after I installed CSS because that is the way the game is meant to be played.

Im not saying there is a lack of admins or lack of skill. Only lack of communication on some occasions. Since i've gotten back, i've been playing during the day when no regs are on and it has driven me up the wall i guess.

Im just venting and hoping some of the old time regs would make an appearance...That would make my day...

I understand, no offense taken. I try to call stuff out, but half the maps I don't know names of stuff, and another 25% I am dead by the time I know what is happening, but that last 25% I try.

People are playing different games and lets face it the ones that are stuck on CSS are getting left behind. Hell I could barely get anyone to rush roof last night with the exception of Duddy. And even he kinda gave up a little and was sick of getting railroaded. I remember at least 3 rounds in a row i was the only one rushing roof against 3-5 Ts on roof. Face it, people are moving on to bigger and better.

Regardless of what people are doing with other games, the CS servers are still populated. New, old, or O.G. we need to let anybody on know what we are about and how this game is played, on TTP servers. Sometimes it may get old or redundant trying to regulate on the noobs, but it must be done and more so now then ever. I will not let the servers get over-ran with non-teamplayers regardless if they are new, because face it, we were all new at one time. I played CS for like 8 years before I got onto TTP and Syrringe had to yell at me like a little kid to let me know that TTP was about getting it done and following the call. Not running around trying to get kills, that doesn't help the team.

Even if you don't play CS that much, get on, yell a little, and show them how it's done.
