Why do many people think i hack

heh, rDizzle asked me to ringer for him on a scrim the other day....before hand, we were messing around and just shooting random shit...

being me, I was running around with my shottie and TmP, and I was raping SHIT!!!

the other team said "fuck that, he can't play." and wouldn't scrim unless they found somebody else >_<

I think the source engine hacks. I swear sometimes I have my crosshairs square on a guys head, and he has no clue I am there, I take my time and fire, don't even hit him, and he turns and kills me. Others I run, jump around a corner, blind fire, and BOOM, head shot. Luck of the draw many times in my opinion. Not to take away from the skilled players, because i know skill does play a major part, but for me as a beginner I rely a lot on luck.

well everyone knows the source engine is fucked up. Many of the best players in CS know how to exploit that and ive been told before that you dont actually fire right at the persons head.. but off to the side a tad. The point is.. most games you fire at someone directly in the middle of their body and you hit them... so its tough to get used to a game where theres things like hitbox lag. Perhaps in the future if they make another counter strike... it will be fixed to the point where if you fire at someones head... the bullet actually goes where it should. For now.. it comes mostly down to pray and spray.

Slippy to get better just go play a dm freeforall server that allows you to kill your teammates and play music while you are doing it. Helps you build character (lol bullshit). Nah gotta just rely on you reflexes more then your hearing and mostly i guess where you are since we play the same maps all the time and know every movement you can do on the maps.
