When did water become a solid object. I've defused bombs in the water thousands of times. I've never had any trouble.

Yes, defusing through a solid object is illegal, as well as planting in glitch spots. You cannot diffuse through the floor on tides, through the side wall on A ramp in D2, through the tunnels in mill, through the trains on train. A good rule of thumb to follow is if you cannot see the bomb, you cannot diffuse the bomb. Use common sense here, if it seems illegal or wrong...it probably is.

Whereas QS'ing is illegal at TTP, yet legal in a scrim, illegal defusals are illegal in both. If you can't do it in a real match, why would you do it in a scrim?

Im assuming you are talking about inferno here. The water is not the problem in the a site, its the fish in the fountain. They can, will, and do disrupt the bomb defusal. Hence it is a glitch plant, making it illegal to plant there.

Sometimes they'll swim in between the bomb and the defuser, essentially making him have to start diffusing again.

Did you mistype the map, or am I a retard, cause bombsite B is a square area with rasied areas on 3 sides. The site is solid ground though. I think you mean Bombsite A
