Unfairness at Port
Have u ever seen a CT throw the bomb in the water between the boat and warehouse?I realize that its just part of the game and i lived with it. Then TTP said that T's are not allowed to plant the bomb in the water at a site at ..... When i read this i thought well since it is illegal to do this i think that they should continue on this path of making the game fair. That they should make it illegal for CT's to throw the bomb into the water at port because there is no way that the T's can get the bomb. If the Bomber dies and drops it into the water then thats okay but i believe that Ct's should not be allowed to throw the bomb into the water by hitting E when they look at the bomb.
:9
P.S. NOT trying to piss off someone just saying whats on my mind, and make a suggestion to try and make the game more fair.

Personally i never thought it fair that the CT's could move the bomb at all. I mean.. they can with the right skills.. place it almost anywhere. But to each his own.
However... when it comes to moving the bomb where it affects the ability for the T's to even attempt to complete the objective (like tossing it off the boat.. or to a place where the T's have no possible way to get it) then that imo is out of line and should be a kickable and banable offense.

Thats a tough one to call for the simple reason that you CTs can inadvertently put the bomb in the water. For example last night i got capped on the way up the ramp to the boat and off the bomb went into the water. Or if the bomb is near an edge a nade will easily put it in the water.
I do agree that it isn't nice for a ct to purposely do it but I that quickly becomes a very blurred line between purpose and accident.

Well if its an accident then its an accident. Obviously if u kill someone or throw a nade at someone and it knocks it in the water then thats inadvertent. However if you purposely throw a nade at it with no Ts around it... or use your "use" key and move it into the water... thats a whole other story.. then its on purpose. Ive seen CT's purposely put it in water so the T's have to kill to win the round. Now bear in mind this is not just port but any map where you can take the bomb out of play on purpose.

Hey, shit happens. Why do you think we turned physics on, besides that it kicks ass. If I was a CT in a real life situation... Wouldn't you want to be able to dispose of the bomb so the Terrorist can't blow stuff up.. I would think so. Something called, strategy. It totally takes their objective away, therefor losing more points (or not gaining more points than they should have, however you look at it.)

Re: Unfairness at Port
I wold have to agree... by that logic Bighub the T's should be able to plant anywhere they want making it as hard as possible for the CT's to defuse... and the CT's should be able to defuse from behind solid objects . Just like they didnt mean for those things to happen (they are glitches in the game), they didnt mean for the bomb to be able to be thrown into a location where the T's can never get it. This isnt just a shoot or be shot game.. its a game of strategy where 1 team has the primary objective they are supposed to be attempting.

We also try to keep the servers as fair as possible. Things like planting so the ct's cant defuse are unfair and I think moving the bomb is fair. Valve knows about the plants and what not, and have made no attempt to fix those stupid glitches. They designed the game with the intention of being able to move the bomb, been able to do it as long as i can remember playing, makes for more strategy. If the bomb falls into the water by accident totally acceptable, and putting it into a location unreachable is acceptable, IMO as well.
