WTF? Follow the call!

So, today, I was making calls on about 4 maps, don't know why, but that's what happened.

All in all, I was getting beyond pissed at people NOT FOLLOWING THE CALL. ...and, Since I didn't have godchat or anything like that, it didn't help to say "cmon guys listen up" because some dude figures "Oh, this kid's 13, fuck that, I'm gonna do what I want" and thus, pays no attention.

Even if I wasn't making the calls, some people wouldn't follow my teammate's orders, which also pissed me off.

*sigh*
What I'm getting to, is if I'm ever in this situation again, what should I say/do to get things together?

I have no problem with being coldblooded about it, as long as it works. :4

If there isn't an admin present, then all you can do is keep making calls and encouraging your team to work together.

Get names and Steam ID's of players that are being blatant non teamplayers and uncooperative. Give that information to an admin.

Minimize your game and make a post in the CSS forum asking for an admin. Even though they may not have the time to play entire maps at the moment, 99% of the time they will see your post, jump on, and solve the problem quickly.

I know what you mean. I came to the conclusion yesterday that the only thing that makes this place fun is an admin with an itchy ban/kick finger. When their not on it turns into just another pub. I guess I'm just going to check the players list for regs and admins before I join.

Use the command ma_chat in your console to speak directly to admins. If they aren't present, then keep hounding on them.

yea if they were saying crap like that, then they dont deserve the pleasure of playing here at TTP. So you can warn them that not following the call is a bannable offense here, and hopefully they will stop playing or start following the call. otherwise just dont talk it too seriously and dont let it get to how you are playing

Yeah, I have a bunch of admins on my steam friends list,
I just prefer not to bother them to come ban some fools :P

There are ALWAYS admins present. Just use ma_chat.

You need to get use to it I have went threw the same bullshit plenty of times people would always say "dude you are like 12 STFU" or they would use "is there a girl playing on this server?". Always contact a admin that is there job to get those punks out of the servers. Also if it gets that much on your nerves then just leave and go have a cookie or something then go back on the servers.

Further, Rudy....call them out, both in the forums, and in game. Mention, specifically, who isn't following the call. If it's a member of a TTP-hosted clan...you can be damn sure they'll be having to answer to someone other than you. If it's a reservist...same thing. If it's a regular TTP player...again, call them out by name in game and in the forums. People will take notice, and say something to them.

However, this is the difficult part...don't call them out and disrespect them. There is a difference between,
"Pineappleberry, next time you're on the same team as I, and I'm making the calls, please do your best to follow them." and "WTF Pine?! You can't follow a single fking call I make just bc I'm 13 and not at the top of the scoreboard?! You're not a teamplayer and a fkng noob!" .....Of course, you knew this, though.
