Lag On Top 5 Server

Recently these last couple of days myself and others of the TTP community have been experience odd lag spikes. Most of them come at the end of the battle as the final game winning kill is dealt while at other times it's at the start of a round or during the round. Any reason as to why this is happening? Is there a solution?

might not be the server, its been fine for me. check out to make sure you don't have too many programs running in the background as you play css.

or maybe you havent defragmented your computer lately?

i used to have random lag spikes during the game, people would see me pause before i shoot, or shoot and then randomly stop, or just jitter across their screen lol, it was definately me though, and not the server

ever since i reformatted i haven't had any problems, and i've been constantly defragmenting my computer

get screen shots with your netgraph showing so that we as admins are able to determine what may be causing the lag spikes. coming and saying "Theres lots of lag spikes" does us no good to help correct the problem.

I will speculate that the lag that happens at the end of every round on this server is the server sending information to gamewager, and since the spike happens at the exact moment that the round is won/lost it would seem that it does not affect the price of tea in China. And that market if very important.
