Thread: maturity

Sorry to make post, but I believed people people took joking to far last night when Sherminator decided to be a tough guy. I know I started the joking, but I had no intention of continuing it. I was just bored at first. Then people kept on making fun of him and so on. He was a new player to counter strike and people kept making fun of him. I know he was annoying and he was out of line by some of the stuff he said, but why can't our community be a little more mature, and just let it go. Honestly people need to watch how far they take the joking. You have no idea who your talking to and you have no idea how I guess emotionally stable these people are. Anyways I just wanted to say that the people on late last night I believe people made fun of this person to much last night. Eventually when yall kept going I tried to settle everyone down and get people to stop. Anyways I don't care if yall ignore this, yall can keep making fun of people and even make fun of me I don't mind. I just believe yall carried it to far last night.

They were calling him names and stuff from what I remember. He just started playing so obviously he did not know all the basics of the game. They were making fun of how he was so lost while playing also. They were just having fun and shit, but it got to a point were the guy was just trying to have fun... isn't that what we all try to do, and people kept on making fun of him making him aggravated. I tried to tell everyone to stop doing it, and I tried to tell sherminator just to stop fueling the fire and to be quiet, and I guess eventually they did. I'm not sure if it just stopped cuz he left or because they stopped. Anyways I don't remember exactly what was said, but people were basically just making fun of him constantly for rounds, and he would be offended and respond and cause more trouble.

well.. honestly I'm not sure anyone really cared because people were tired and it was late, but if he was replying here it was personally interrupting his game play. He said himself he just wanted to play and enjoy the game. Also it was annoying to others, and eventually got annoying to me because they persisted on tormenting him. I'm pretty sure people solved some of the problem by just muting players. I'm not trying to call anyone out. I'm just saying people need to be more mature and not carry things on so far.

1.) We do not have rules against making fun of people... If you get offended because somebody called you a poopoo head or fuck face.. cry. Seriously, grow up. I make fun of people every day I'm on.

2.) Our server isn't just about "having fun" - that's like saying "It's just a game". Sure, we would like to have fun.. But it's teamplay and you need to work with your team that we are worried about. If you or anybody else wants to have "fun", go play on TDR and fuck around... and don't come back.

Now, if you're talking about playing together and having fun, then that's awesome. But if you mean "fun", as in fucking around and doing what you want. Then you do not need to be playing here.

As long as everyone is playing together as a team, making strats and calls... then who cares.

hub.. u know i mean fun as in team play fun. I'm not telling anyone to not make fun of people. I'm just saying when people make fun of people for like 2 map rounds it's ridiculous. People need to grow up, and I'm not going to say it wasn't his fault for it because he was responding like an asshole too, but anyways I don't really care. I'm probably not going to respond anymore and I'll just say it was becoming disrupting to game play and that is a rule on ttp because people were using there mics for making fun of him instead of calling strats out. Aren't we suppose to use our mics for strats and anything else can be considered useless spam? Well I'm done trying to argue with yall if your going to respond like that. It does not matter if u make fun of people when ur dead but for 2+ map rotations. That's excessive and is disrupting. Also my point on people having to mute people, doesn't that alone tell you it was disrupting to people?

both... mainly during the beginning of the rounds, but continued... if i remember right

Alright, well was it constant throughout the round? Or did they become serious and make calls and strats?
