03-03-09, 01:54 AM #1Well....
So I don't know who the hell is D-White but if that is how he treats non-regs I hope others calm him down. Had I not been a ttp reg and known people on the server I'd have said Peace.
I spawned w/Bomb and got lost. Sorry I do not play CS:S I think I have about 4-7 hours of reg CS:S logged. And he is sitting there bitchin me out for getting stuck. fuck him
but all other CS:S players for the most part are very accepting, and actually a few did say hello to me when I joined up.
but to have this guy asking me if I knew what TTP was?!?

Re: Well....
Don't let it get you down.
If people know you are new they will go out of their way to help you out. Guaranteed.
Sometimes we don't know Tom from Dick and Harry though. While being a TTP reg gets you some respect, it doesn't entitle you to special treatment, and I guarantee you everyone that goes the wrong way with the bomb gets an earful. This is the school of hard knocks. We teach by example. We don't have the luxury of touring you around like in the massive Battlefield games.
Don't take it personally. Just know that we take the game seriously.
The first few seconds of the round are absolutely crucial as you will find out if you keep playing. Soon enough you'll be yelling at "that idiot that ran off with the bomb." Trust me.

Re: Well....
Hey now....did you say "I'm new"....wow...such an awkward time for this post to come up.
If you play with him any other time, you'd see a different side.
Also, it doesn't help that your team was getting rolled 23-2 at this point in time. That would make anyone agitated.

As for this situation, everyone who plays CSS will yell at some point during the round. Even if the team is winning. You just can't take it personally.

Re: Well....
It's nothing personal bro, didn't even know it was an issue in-game. If your worried about getting chewed out just relax it happens to everyone, including me, and especially in a situation like yours. Surprised to see a thread about it, but hopefully you understand.

Re: Well....
I have an idea JB, get on the server tonight and wait for someone to fuck up (it will happen....) and then bitch them out for it, I mean really chew them a new one. It feels good. And you'd be surprised at how many people will follow the call for the next couple of rounds.
