Why do we ban people for exploits that no longer work?  For the same reason we'd ban anyone for trying to use hacks that no longer work, or claiming to be a mygot when they are not.  Play like a cheater, get banned like a cheater.  TTP is a zero tolerance community on such issues.

Get your erasers out, we no longer belive in this....    :3

That point was considered, along with the point of players like Pineapple who started playing CS long after the exploit was patched out, but still learned it and did it to clear his field of view to make sure nobody was sneaking up on him.

The view of the majority of the high admins is as follows. There are 2 types of player that QQ. The first is someone like Pine, Duddy, or many of our other regs. They switch not to gain speed, but to make sure they are not being flanked. The second are the CAL 1337 pwnzors who think they are too cool to follow rules in a pub. Group one will still play here like they always have. Group two will most likely be banned for some other infraction.

couldn't agree with you more. it seemed like a petty offense when they could focusing on the real asshats.

Kraker, why post a second topic when there is already a running topic on the same subject, one that you have replied to twice? you should know better. Merged.

My attempt is nothing more than how I feel about this decision. I do not agree, And I am making a point to let everyone know that i do not agree with it. That is all. No need to get personal or hostile.

QS is an exploit, that quote was from a founding father...its like changing the constitution. It never works out for the best

Re: Quickswitching is no longer a punishable offense.

If QSing were still an exploit it would be a bannable offense.

If every player that QSed did so because they are/were and exploiter then it would still be a bannable offense.

If someone is an asshat whether they QS or not they will be banned.

Since there are valid non-exploitive reasons to QS it in and of itself is not a bannable offense.

If you can prove any of these wrong then you have a valid argument.

    PS - 14K bitches.

How do you compare quickswitching to the constitution?

If we all made a thread an complained about what we dislike firefox wouldn't load.
