    Dust is a pretty lopsided map and I hate playing it. The majority of the time I am t on the map and most of the time we get our asses handed to us. We can win from time to time, but for the most part we still get owned. Even when we try to do stuff as a team like hold the tunnels for a minute or something, usually 1 or 2 guys don't listen and can sometimes screw up everything for the whole team. You really do need EVERY team member to work together to win. You can get a few lucky wins every now and then, but to actually win the whole map you need effective teamwork.

    Assault on the other hand is a bit more tolerable I'd say, IF you have a smart team though. People who just camp as CT on that map usually ruin it since a good team of CTs can rush the Ts and win.

    And yeah compound should be brought back since it is a pretty fun and challenging map, but not totally one sided.

    Green would be FAIR, Blue can often be fair, but neither side has a higher ratio than 1.15, and red would be anything outside of a 1.15 spread (cutoffs I think are pretty decent).

    Here, the spread is about teh same, but the "fair" cutoffs are at +/- 10% = fair, +/- 10-25% equal kind of fair, and +/- >25% = blowouts.

    CS_office is about one of the fairest top5 maps you can play. another CS map, compound, is close to being "fair", though the CT KD is better than their win%. Dust2, aztec, italy and dust are complete blowout maps. If this discussion is about removing the unfair maps.......then we gotta take a look at the stats, rather than worshipping a bunch of old school CAL relics, and their stance on pwnage and how the game should be played.

    I'm not sure about removing Dust, because it can certainly be won by a fairly good rushing team. Although it's lopsided, if the majority of good regulars join the T side constantly instead of stacking, there wouldn't have to be a vote. Maybe it should be revoked from the server because so many people don't care about being fair and playing as a team as long as they are getting a good K ratio because of their selfishness.

    i def think it should be removed because it is wayy to CT sided but sometimes when good players are on T, its a little more even but still..if any good player joins CT, they usually end up winning the majority of the matches

    Another thing, have any of you played dust late at night? You should see how many piece of shit new players and potential hackers it brings in. It's only with dust too.

    And compound was taken off the rotation i believe, but its still in votemap.

    Well here's the deal, I usually see dust after another "one sided map". Usually after aztec or italy, and almost always, it's the skilled regs and killers that have played the crappy side of the previous map, therefore giving them the option to choose ct on dust. Now you can have all the teamwork you want, stick 4-5 killers, sambo and any other reg on ct, T win percentage will never rise above 20% (and I'm being generous).
