Not to rain on your parades, but i don't think either of you two are adressing his issue. lol.

Like express did say, I would try to restart steam...if it happens every time, even after steam restart, then try reinstalling i guess.

How long have you had this problem??

This is why I play windowed. I check the forums a lot when I play(lot of dead time

). If your game is windowed this won't happen.

it has always happened i just never addressed it. Yes i always just restart it and it fixes it. Maybe i will try reinstalling.

Honestly it sounds like a video card problem, something that can't be "fixed" when you change displays between ingame and Windows and then back to ingame your video card has trouble changing back to the correct video format.
