Re: starting to lose my cs:s touch

I would just suggest playing another game as many have suggested. I'll dabble in CSS after BF2 becomes boring, or install BF2142 if I want something similar, but different from BF2. I even played COD4 for a little while which was fun.

Yes, improving your game will improve your KDR. Focusing on exclusively improving your KDR against top players doesn't make you a better teamplayer, just a stat whore.

Fuck, I can't have an opinion?

No! No opinion for you! I have taken your "I have an opinion" card. ...didn't I send you the memo?

I appologize for coming off so harshly, however, I think manno was not intending to say "Improve your KRD at the expense of your team".. What he's trying to say is.. focus on something a little different to spice it up. You can become more proficient at a weapon you were previously not as good at, and then if there's a need for you to have that weapon, you will better assist your team. This what I got from his message.

I just didn't agree with the whole try to improve your KD against top players.. I dont know... KD is like the last thing I think about. I just jumped on that too quickly, that's all...

Re: starting to lose my cs:s touch

I think a new approach or learning some new stuff can help to get into stuff again. Watching frag vids/demos might help for some new ideas, maybe change up some visual or other settings, etc.

A new game can help a lot too, so long as you don't blend your mindsets together (can't play CS:S like it's Quake Live xP).

A player I knew used to play America's Army before playing CS, and it helped him A LOT. When he first popped onto a CS:S team after a week of playing, he was significantly better than everyone else on his team already! Granted, he is just naturally good and they were just a simple CAL-O team, but no matter how you look at it it was a week vs. months or years of experience.

    Best of luck!
