Please, just because you do not care about your KPD, don't force your own opinions on others. Look at any self help book and you will always find a chapter on goals. They are what motivate and push people to do things that they ordinarily would not achieve.
To play in TTP means to be a team player and we should all have the goal of being a better teammate, I know I do. It is hard to measure if you are becoming a better team player but it is something you should all work on. I have multiple goals both in and out of game. It keeps me on track and focused on what is important to me.
Toker, I like the way you play and enjoy fragging it up with you in TTP. Though I disagree with some of what you said, I understand where you are coming from. Team play is of the utmost importance here and I know that. I hope others understand that I am not encouraging people to play just for KPD, I am merely saying that setting a goal which KPD is one of, can help you light a fire under your bottom and encourages you to work harder.
I want to see Sora when he is ripping it up. I enjoy watching others play as it helps me improve and enjoy the game I play too much of. Best of luck getting back into the swing of things Sora.

Re: starting to lose my cs:s touch
Yeah, the basic's of any FPS game... is to kill people. Team-play is... Hmm...
Anyway, basically, my point is the more you can kill, the better your team can trust on you, the better the team-play is, the chain goes on.
So it isn't "bad" or anything, that's just a naive focus.
But yeah, take a break, like 1 week or something, go play AA3, or TF2. When you go back you'll be GOLDEN!
Me: "But the Gunslinger is so much more fun..."
Langrad: "We're here to win, not to..."
Me: "Have fun?" "Hahaha"

Re: starting to lose my cs:s touch
Alright Sora I got a couple of solution that I used to get back into CS and maintain a high interest.
1) Reduce your time play for about a week or so and play a different type of game (RPG, Fighting, etc)
2) Pick a rival to always play against in CS and pick people that you always play with to keep things interesting. For me I always play against idunn, toker and cripple, trash talk is always exchange. I try to play with Pootie, Vic Mackey, Smoken, Vafa, and Jeff. Since Pootie and Mackey will make the round goes by fast and if you're loosing it wouldn't even feel like it with those two. All of them have interesting way of developing calls and has always made me want to play with them so I could try to start thinking like them while making calls. (my favorite way of making CS interesting every day)
3) Practice new weapons during the game. Don't go too extreme and just pick a crapping weapon but maybe pick up the shotty and try to be a entry person in areas or scout and pick off flankers. I think people are starting to notice that I am using the awp more often when I can. Ya better hope this isn't the second coming of the shotty skills

D2 i have been getting hs with the scout through the door like crazy just ask master (or salty since i did it to him 3 times and 1 with deagle)
But yes trash talking does help because it gets me pumped and want to play better but dont get to excited or concentrated on one person because then you don't really help your team and eventually end up with a worse score.
So basically follow Master's steps and you should be good to go

Watch a quick demo before you play. Learn a new crack to peek, new way to peek a corner, new way to peek this gap or that gap. And like someone has already said, challenge yourself.
Everyone hits that slump now and then, you just have to jump start yourself back into it.
