Thread: light 'em up

we had a gaggle of campers and non-teamplayers a few minutes ago on dust.



wanchuk was camping and picking up trash the whole game, and \/EvA | Nirro was justifying chuk's camping by saying "it's just a pub, calm down"

there were also others, and i know i status'd them, and i thought i ss-ed em... but i guess not.

camping, and saying "dude, shut up" when i called the next rush after yelling at him not to camp the underpass. he did nothing but awp/auto camp.

there was one more, cheese thief, that was camping regularly as well. i know i status'd him, but i must've hit print screen instead of f5... so used to 2142 controls. he didn't show up in the psychostats either. hopefully he'll be there when the stats update.

That's crazy dude. HAHAHAHAHA!

right... round after round he'd let the team rush forward, and he'd "fall back" (i.e. CAMP) and make his OWN plans. he never said "hey, why don't we try this instead"... hell, he never said anything until i told him to stop camping. being at the rear of the pack by dumb luck, watching the team die as fast as they enter the tunnels, and changing direction because he, by chance, survived is one thing. purposely letting everyone else go first, then proceeding to camp either the tunnels or underpass every round is NOT teamwork, it's trash collecting, and it's bannable.

Notice in console Attack rabbit said NJ in terriost chat... maybe they were winning because of his last ditch efforts to save the round?!?!?!??! :P

actually, no, it was ah-pah that got it done. the rest of us were dead.

If he was covering your back, its one thing, if he is off camping way out in nowhere land, it is useless. However, I will take someone watching my back any day, compared to the alternative. If you dont protect your flank, you deserve to loss.

just my opinion, not everyone's style is rush rush rush, and a team full of such types can be slaughtered with few results, the best teams are comprised of a combination of styles.

I am not defending this person in particular since, i dont know the full details, however, you should keep this in mind.

Yup. Someone does need to watch the underpass when getting stuffed in the tunnels... IF you get stuffed.

no, he camped. he was not asked to "cover our flank" (a poor excuse for bombing terrorists on any map: go in and guard the damn bomb), he wasn't asked to watch the damn underpass. he CAMPED. he just wanted to sit back and shoot people with his awp. when that got restricted, he switched to a scout. he still camped. no matter how you look at it, he was camping like a little bitch, selling out his team for his KD, which, i might add, he used to "validate" his camping. "i have a better score than you, so i must be doing something right". it should be in the logs.
