one thing i have always hated was people blaming video games/computers/music for peoples actions. i have played violent games and listened to "bad" music since i was in elementary school, im 23 years old now and have never once had the urge to shoot/kill someone no matter how much i dislike them. sure iv thought about it on a sarcastic level but would never in a million years commit to it.

i was raised to understand the difference between reality and video games, like most kids are. so where were the parents at? even at that, they arent the ones who pulled the trigger, the kids were. and im 99% sure the kids knew what they were doing, they are just retarded for doing it.

people have been commiting random violent acts since day 1, since before video games, so whats the excuse then? did hitler play the beta version of cs? fuck no, people do stupid shit for no reason at all, but the media/gov wont settle for that so they just point the finger.

i give it a couple years with a few more shootings and it will be up for discussion here if it hasnt started already. cali will more than likely be the first to pass it if it ever does come around. just my 2 penny's.

This year the governament has actuall backed down on the video game industry and rating system, saying they're doing all they can and at this point it's up to parents.

Just like when columbine happend, people wanted to point fingers at Doom, since appartenly the kids that did it played Doom all the time. Just like hundreds of thousands of other kids that grew up to be normal and knew the difference.

I think I've said this before in a similar post, but this is just the way the world works now. No one can take responsibility for their actions, so they blame/sue/ban whatever they can point their finger at and blame for the dumbass shit they just did.
