Thread: CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT HERE

Everytime I try to join in on a scrim: I get this message.

zBlock - "mat_dxlevel" value "60.00" below acceptable limit: to play on this server set the value to at least "80.00".

I try to change it in console to mat_dxlevel 80.00 and I get this

try adding this into your command line for launch options:

-dxlevel 80

yea set it at 80 or 81 in your config. If that doesnt work their is a startup command in game properties that you match to your mat_dxlevel.

so, i looked around in my steam/CSS folder didnt see what you are talking about. Prolly need to take me thru the steps. Im a tard @ cpus!

what kind of video card do you have?

Set Launch Options

1. Right-click on the game title under the My games tab in Steam and select Properties.
2. Under the General tab click the Set launch options... button.
3. Enter the launch options you wish to apply (be sure to separate each code with a space) and click OK.
4. Close the game's Properties window and launch the game.



THIS IS THE COMMAND YOU ENTER -dxlevel 80

copy and paste exactly that

So I did what u said alpine, now i get a different error mat_specular is set at 1 needs to be 0. tried to change it in console " mat_specular 0" I get big error message. Tried to put it in with -dxlevel 80 "mat_specular 0" and it still did not work

would putting a config in like caseys configuration help it if so ill show you how to do it tommrow.
