Sometimes "slo-ghey"ing is a good way too get your team focused and get back together. I agree to do it RARELY. But often is bad.

If the CT's are aggressive? SLOW PLAY. Get a few picks THEN rush.

lol you haven't been around long enough to play with me much.

I used to make calls, till I broadened what I expected from my team. I'm used to a higher degree of teamplay The only time you'll hear me "step up and lead" is when the caller has died and the plan just isn't going to work out or people start running around like their heads are cut off. If no one steps up I'm the first person on the mic making sure people are headed where they're needed to go. Even then, downies frustrate me
    Disappointing.

The really good callers figure out what their team's weakness is, then make a call where they can take a role that negates that weakness and makes sure that what they call works. I see the highest end players do that and it's what I aspire to in CSS. Every trooper is not an Army Ranger, but you find out what you have and you weld it into the best fighting force it can be.

I played with Kev today. Excellent player, top fragger, but rarely used his mic that I heard. I had such high hopes last time we removed his ban too. Oh well, I guess some players are content as long as they aren't breaking the rules.

come on guys. there is no need to jump on his back. let me try and put this in a good analogy.

Anyone can be in the army but not everyone can be an officer. Some people just arn't meant to lead. There is no need to put him down for that.

Two high admins have posted on this page, and didn't lock it. Trigger, yes, not everyone can be the general, but when people that have the skills and knowledge to lead choose not to I wonder why. I am not trying to flame Mud, and not accusing him of anything he doesn't admit himself, just wondering if he has a reason why he plays here if we are all so inferior to him.

This is really the only time it need to be done. Other than that, all it takes is your team to be doing its job. I've been on plenty of teams were we couldn't win a single round because one or two guys were dragging their feet. Teams where nothing worked, till they all got their asses in gear and actually rushed right. No team is invulnerable to a rush. Ever. You decoy, you flank, or you rush. Odds are you'll win with one of those. No slowgay required.
