Re: Well,
I appreciate the kind words guys.
I'll still be at quakecon. It won't be the same tho.
If anyone wants the TTP Quakecon banner let me know. It's going to be too hard to hang onto it......Kind of emotional right now. What a shitty start to my new year...... :3
If the highs are going to take it to the mid admins, I just pray that y'all trust and believe me and will consider my return. Although it is unlikely.

Re: Well,
Ok.
This is the way I see it, not that it matters to some but I will still post on the topic.
It seems that syrringes story and reason behind the ban has been validated and confirmed. It was not for wall hacking or aimbot but rather a red dot script. A script is a script but there was no real deal hacks involved.
I trust the high admins will use their better judgment one the matter as they have in the past. They know the importance of the whole "case by case" scenario, this is one of those situations.
TTP admins take all information into consideration and realize this is not just some chump player that was caught wall hacking.
They will take care of business and hopefully syrringe will be staying a resident teamplayer because we need a dedicated member ready to help in the CSS tournys for the BYOC LAN at quakecon.

First, Syrringe and I have talked often, so he knows how I feel about him. Second, I am not speaking as THE official high position, just my own sense of reasoning here. True, we know why ESEA banned Syrringe, and odds are very likely that it was something as innocent as some red dot script. However, that being said, do we truly know that A) that was the only thing ESEA banned him for, and B) that is what VAC banned him for? The honest answer is NO. For all we know Syrringe could have been using an aimbot 6 months prior to getting banned by ESEA, but stopped when he joined ESEA, or never used it on ESEA, but got caught by VAC anyway.
The reason the admins and site mods came to this conclusion is that we don't truly know, in any case, why a player was banned. It could be something simple, but it could be something that is a real deal cheat. Since we don't know we have to put our faith in VAC that if it is bad enough that Valve doesn't want it on their servers then we don't want it on ours.

Re: Well,
As was stated earlier, this thread was to accomodate goodbyes and not express your feelings on the matter. Jason, I know syrringe and yourself are close. But posting your opinion will possibly sway the views of some people. Which im sure you know is likely to happen. And in the event that things do not work out for syrringe, the last thing we need is a community outcry for leniency. Or worse, some sort of anarchy fallout.
Maybe a bit extreme, but I will respectfully lock this until the highs announce protocall. Please understand.

Goodbye syrringe.
