Thread: Since when is it allowed?

Since when is it allowed for the CTs to camping spawn on Dust2? If its allowed then why are the Ts being punished for camping and scouting like the CTs are. If the Ts should be punished for it, then so should the CTs. Camping bombsite is all fine and dandy, but spawn so be off limits for both side peroid.

CT's can camp spawn to watch middle doors, short, and long a. It acctually serves a purpose because sometimes there is an escape plan needed, but if they are camping after the bomb is planted then that is wrong =/

Wow. I dont see anything wrong with camping anywheres if you are the defending team. So if ct's cant stay in their spawn how are they supposed to watch double doors in middle or maybe keep an eye on long from the cover of their own spawn? T's get punished for camping because by them camping, they are not pursuing their objective. I dont however see anything wrong with having one T stay back to watch double doors to inform their teammates of where the enemy is going, other than that, camping should be punished on T side. If anything you would want ct's to stay in their spawn, makes it easier for t's to plant... ***shrugs***

No obviously you haven't thought about this much because on Dust 2 CT's are in a central position which can quickly access both bomb site A and B as well as covering the middle. Now that is covering the bomb sites. T's have an objective to peruse they don't camp. The CT's were doing there job.

I would have explained it exactly as rock did....exactly.

One fishy area is T spawn on port... it is strategically a very good spot once the bomb is down... you can see both bomb sites with a scout perferably.

fishy as in i have seen high admins ban people for staying there after being told not to? as in that kind of fishy?

Neither... its just fishy cause it LOOKS like camping but sometimes its for a good reason.
