FYI: wierd email

i received an email titled "take measures immediately!!!"... it went on to say that my account had been linked to some spamming and that i needed to follow a link to scan for viruses.. i began to follow the link but backed out before it executed anything... in the process of closing the window it clearly wanted me to misunderstand how to exit out... that, along with the strange title, makes me suspicious (someone really wants me to follow their directions)

anywho, i have my own virus scan and found no problems... just thinking i should make someone aware of this... it seems like something is amok

this is the email:
You have just been sent a personal message by ErnestTravino on Texas ...TeamPlayers....

IMPORTANT: Remember, this is just a notification. Please do not reply to this email.

The message they sent you was:

Dear, iNdaf4cE!

Spam sending from your computer was detected.
We highly recommend you to check your computer and perform online virus check at our site immediately: **************
If you do not pass this test we will have to delete your account and forward a complaint to your ISP with attached log file (your IP address, etc.).

It's some russian spammer who registered on our site and started sending our spam PMs. Ignore the hell out of it.

Yep, never click on links from people with 0 post count.. that guy failed horribly..

never clink on ANY links from ANY one at TTP or elsewhere....Thats what I do...If it was important, they will steam msg me...and if they dont have me on steam...then they aint my friend anyway...
