He better start playing more because he would called me once a week to tell me to buy a new computer. So if he doesn't show up he should get a ban!

patched ruined it for me. random high pings that last for several minutes, lagging players, warping, hitboxes that don't register... then register when they shouldn't... just awful. and that's after fixing the invisible people and walls that went on for weeks...

after 1 year off and what's basically a rebuilt game, i predict several months of pain for 3 ...

The graphical inconsistencies in terms of hit registration are pure shit now. I die all the time while according to my screen I am a good 3 steps behind cover. I had a round of Chateau the other day where I was last alive, up stairs, shooting a guy in water that was looking towards T spawn. My crosshairs were dead on his head, and no registration whatsoever. I get the whole it is the interwebs, and what you see is not what is really happening, but it still pisses me off.

I felt the first couple of weeks were pretty bad, but overall after 2-3 patches to the update things are almost back to normal to me.

However with registration I haven't been experiencing any problems. If anything the results of gun fire appear more responsive. There use to be a good delay between headshot, and confirmation. Now its like they happen simultaneously. Very different than the pre OB version.

In regards to getting killed around corners. A really low LERP seems to do that to me. I've pushed mine into the 40s and I don't notice it as much now. (The exact opposite of what I would have expected). I know of at least 5-6 regs that don't play nearly as much since the update. And another some odd 20 that are playing again since the update.

Yeah, I probably need to adjust my lerp, and possibly other rates as well.

Did the update change the game that much? 2 you better be on to game with me or I will be pissed! Does anyone think the update was a good thing?
