Ode to Vafa: A (slightly bromantic) take on TPG's #1 CS Badass
So you join up on one of TPG's servers and there is a open slot on the easy side of your favorite map, perhaps the camp and kill side of a de_map. So you spawn up front and rush to a spot you know you have the advantage. You get on your perch and are completely ready to defend the bombsite when you hear a "tink tink" of a flashband hitting the wall and footsteps running. You instinctively turn against the wall and the flash barely blinds you, trouble avoided, right? Wrong, a second flash banks in, your ears were still slightly ringing from the first flash so you didn't hear it hit the wall. You fire madly into the whiteness, emptying the clip into the nearest wall. It's too late, the flash finally wears off and you are suddenly spectating Vafa, helplessly watching him rape some teammates that were supposedly backing you up. Furthermore, while blindly spraying you call out over the mic that the other team has arrived en mass, so just as your team is rotating into the site, the bomb is planted on the other side of the map.
Vafa is truly the epitome of a true leader. Calm, creative, and able to inspire greatness in other players. You'll never hear him belittle anyone, speak out of anger, or make a call that's legitimacy could be questioned. He's the coach that you never want to let down, he's the hot girl in the stands you are playing your heart out to impress, he's Ed Reed, Peyton Manning and Phil Jackson combined into some sort of strange counter strike machine. Vafa raises my play to a entirely different level when he is leading my team. My KDR when Vaf is leading my team is ridiculously high because I have so much confidence in him as a leader it leaves me free to concentrate on killing. I'm not worried about asshats not following the call, not worried about having to step up and make a call to turn things around, I'm just locked into whatever he calls. Also knowing where he will be makes any map so much easier because I don't have to worry about that portion of the map, supreme confidence, that is what Vafa instills in me. On the flip side of that when I am playing against him I know I have to concentrate and bring my "A" game or we will get run over, always challenging me to become a more complete player.
In summary, if Vafa ever came to Texas and slapped my mom, kicked my dog and slept with my sister I would still shake his hand and buy him a beer, that is how much respect I have for him. If I were in one of his Dairy Queens and it was being robbed, I would fearlessly attack the burglars just knowing Vafa was in the building. Anyway, I don't post much but I felt like this needed to be said. You're my CS hero Vafa! Keep up the awesome job!

In all the posts I have ever read, this is by far my favorite. I think if you were a woman (gotta have silky smooth skin and a nice booty though), then we would be making love. But seriously, I appreciate the kind words. Sometimes I do not know how to handle it when people say nice things about me because you never know if its because I am a high admin or somewhat of a cutie pie (jkjk). But in truth, it really makes me feel good about myself that I can make others hit their potential....there is no better feeling than winning for me, so I try my best to keep things positive and creative. I can't stand it when people are negative, even when you are getting your ass kicked. In the end, as long as we do our best to win and get the objective done.....we will feel accomplished as gamers. Btw, I LOVE having you as my teammate. We wouldn't have whooped on season like we did last night if we didn't have you!
PS- Is your sister hot?

My sis is hot, and you could totally take my brother in law, he's a big pansy! (Good thing there is no way in hell he would ever be in this forum, cause he could kick my ass!) In any case Vaf, you deserve any praise you get simply because of the way you play the game.
