Thread: Need help with 2 game issues

1. I never see the new MOTD. When I join the game it is just blank, as if we have no MOTD at all.

2. My interlope always reverts back to 100. I change it to 20 every time I play, but it never sticks.

Any suggestions?

1. Make sure you didn't disable MOTD in your options>multiplayer>advanced
2. put:
   cl_interp .02
   in your autoexec.cfg

2. What if I don't have an autoexec.cfg?

You should make one.

1. Open notepad
2. paste: cl_interp ".02" (with or without quotes, I use them)
3. file>save as
4. select all file types
5. name it autoexec.cfg
6. save it in steam/steamapps/yourname/counter-strike source/cstrike/cfg/

I also put all my rate settings in here, like:
cl_updaterate 66
cl_cmdrate 66
rate 30000

and weapon buy binds:
bind "f1" "buy m4a1; buy ak47"
etc.

and other special key binds:
bind "f" "use weapon_flashbang"


Basically use the autoexec.cfg for anything that you don't want to be changed.
