Ranking and Statistics

Will I be able to reset my ranking and statistics in TPG? I'd like to because I feel my skill in cs;s have increased since two years ago D: and i am beginning to care about my k/d and etc. But still winning the round is more important.

The only way I know to truly reset your stats is to purchase a new steamID and go from there.
But besides that I'm not totally sure, seeing as how the stats are run out of GameME.

Isn't there the option to have the admins reset it, since they can also ban/unban and do other stuff?

Well, from what I'm guessing.
I think it goes through another website not run by TPG, so we might not have the option to reset it.
But once again, I'm not positive on that.

We can't reset 1 individuals stats. Even if we could, we wouldn't, because they are an important source of information.

Besides, a lot of the stats are split between lifetime and 1 month increments. You can see a progression if you're getting better, and it will show your 1 month KDR, hs/kill, etc as well.

Mmm actually, IIRC the Highs can reset an individuals stats. But what Pimp said is really true, it's important to have the history.

Plus, gameME also takes into account the 'age' of the data, and weights the more recent stuff higher.

Anway, who cares about stats?

best way to track your new skill level is simply to make small modification to your name.

then if you look a bit down in gamme stats, you'll see the new version of your name with high lvl stats like hpk, kdr, w/l.

that's probably the best you can do. looks like this:
