A Holiday Failure

'Twas the last round of Inferno, when all through the map,
Not a Terrorist was stirring, not even a tap,
Their positions were held on the radar with care,
In hopes that their strat caller soon would be there;

The CT's were nestled all snug in their sites,
While visions of headshots danced in their sights,
And manno with his rifle, and I with my glock,
Had just settled down with 2:00 on the clock;

When out on Alt-Mid there arose such a clatter,
I peeked from my spot to see what was the matter,
Away toward the window I threw a bad flash,
Bounced off of the shutters, a waste of good cash;

The glare on the rest of my teammates so near
Gave way to obscenities screamed in my ear,
When, what to my panicking eyes should appear,
But a volley of nades, and an enemy at our rear;

With little resistance, our strategy was wrecked,
I knew in a moment, we left Banana unchecked,
More rapid than eagles his bullets they came,
And he taunted, and shouted, and typed to us in-game;

"The Mad Mad Rush Always gets its Pecks!
It's a Mad Mad World,
What ya gonna do PECK .. when the Madster comes RUSHING at you!
Pay Homage to the Peck Killer baby!!"

Wreaking havoc and chaos and New England pride,
He held down the trigger 'til four of us died,
So up to the apartments the flankers they flew,
With clips full of ammo, and Warlady too;

And then, in an instant, I heard from the halls,
The sounds of gunfire bouncing off of the walls,
As I drew in my head, and was looking around,
Down from the bridge Vafa came with a bound;

He was covered in blood, from his head to his foot,
Having stopped the other team's rush, his effort was well-put,
A bundle of explosives he had strapped on his back,
And he said that the bombsite was ready to sack;

His eyes -- how they burned! His orders precise!
His calls were like clockwork, though they came at a price,
His AK in hand, while leading the way,
He told me and manno to go and sell A;

Obeying his orders, down Banana we went,
Making sure all our flashes and nades were spent,
For victory and valor we ran to our death,
Drawing rotators from B with every last breath;

Relegated to spectating we watched our team work,
And kill all the enemies; even Toker, that LOST-hating jerk, ( )
And laying his finger on the bomb which to plant,
Vafa suddenly realized why the site was so scant;

With horror he watched as the play clock hit zero,
Just moments before he could plant like a hero,
In disbelief we watched as the other team grinned,
As the final words rang out; "Counter-Terrorists win."

Oh, and Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

The Twelve Days of TPG

On the twelfth round of Pira, TPG gave to me:
Tweleve flashers flashing,
Eleven Terrorists rushing,
Ten campers camping,
Nine CT's whining,
Eight bombers bombing,
Seven Hitches bitching, (sorry Hitch!)
Six snipers sniping...
FIVE MVP's!!!
Four calling strats,
Three nade stacks,
Two roof suicides,
And a Mardigan with a P90!
