Yea, I agree with you there, but it brings it to regs attention so that they are at their best on the servers for good examples for the new guys to follow....And so that we can make the new guys aware of the TPG way of doing things.

Agreed. That's really all we can do.

As far as talking goes it's completely acceptable to speak about the call after it has been made. You can still slightly modify a call on most maps if the call is made quickly.

Yes, if someone is not going to step up and call then they need to make sure to be quiet at round start and to not bitch and moan if the team loses a few rounds in a row. Keeping up team morale helps everyone, and it just kills it when someone starts whining their head off. Because really... people here are pretty perceptive. When the whole team dies horribly they usually notice.

One thing I always have to bite my tongue on is "Rush banana" (and just that) on inferno when the CTs have been really good about nadestacking it. I know it's not going to work but don't want to ruin the flow of the call so I always try to not say anything, but pleeeeeease don't call it if the CTs have people who know how to use grenades!

That's why I usually wait until after everyone is dead and say "They've been nade stacking the shit out of A. If we're going to go there, let's go mid through spawn or delay it but that early nade stack is going to kill us. If nothing else, show a slowplay get somebody to draw their nades then go."
    Speed. I am speed.

Strat callers are hard to come by. Good strat callers are even rarer. So I can see why some people get mad at some strats because they are just plain dumb but those people cant / shouldnt say anything because they arnt manning up and calling a strat either. I would be a strat caller but im a orignal 1.6 player that moved to source so not alot of the same things can be done from cs1.6 to source and i only really know the de_maps.

Coming from 1.6 to CSS isn't the issue & that's not entirely true. I played Beta2 - 1.6 exclusively & only started playing CSS in Aug 2010. I have never played Temple/Season/Port/etc until TPG & I regularly call.

There are numerous strat callers here on TPG, many who make excellent calls. The problem is with those that think they can make calls, but are not man enough to make them, they just criticize, usually because they're not doing so hot.

Trust me there is a difference between calling 1.6 strats and calling css strats you can not do all the same things that you can on cs 1.6 / css trust me as a experienced league / lan strat caller in both cs 1.6 and css. and if you dont know the maps you wouldnt know what to call, what to work, how to work it, where to push, where to stop and wait for the push, many numerous things that can play to an effect.

There may be numerous strat callers, but deff not all make excellent calls. and you are right there are people who criticize without the balls to strat call which is why i started calling myself after i learned the maps and watched some css hltv's to learn some strats from other pro's seeing what works and what doesnt.
