Problem Joining Server

Alias here, I've got a friend from work who recently bought CSS just to play with me basically and I only play TPG. Whenever he tries to join the server though, he gets stuck at the first file his computer tries to download from the server "america.mp3". He's on a new Mac Book Pro and we just can't figure out why he can't join. Have tried as much as deleting my admin_plugin folder, joining TPG and downloading everything again, and just sending him that newly downloaded admin folder so it's only the TPG server files and he still can't join, have tried sending him just "america.mp3" and it still gets stuck. Suggestions?

Try disabling dont download custom sounds in options.
