    cC Maps

Awhile back Tree mentioned the map de_disruption, created by the head of cC (Cincinnati), on this thread. I know a lot of the tpg guys showed interest in trying it out. I was just wanting to know if you all would want to try out not only disruption, but several of cincy's other maps. I assure you that they are all very high quality maps and would love to see you guys give them a shot. And for you l4d2 players, you gotta check out drop dead gorges...

The one below intriguing... I like the screenshot and the idea. I'm all for paintball-esque maps.

I wouldn't mind trying all the maps on there... we need a few more maps in the rotation. Taking cbble, dust, russka, and inferno off of the rotation... I would like to have those maps on to try them out and also the inferno im referring to is css inferno... I wouldnt mind having the inferno_pro on there instead

I remember playing de_bazaar once. Seemed like a pretty cool map at the time. It's been quite awhile though....can't remember how balanced it was.

Would love to try new maps but I think that the size for de_disruption is probably too big to download through CSS (49 mb).

    Re: cC Maps

Glad to see some interest. I myself haven't played these maps in quite some time, I'm really anxious to see these maps get some attention. Bazaar is my personal favorite of the bunch... I really encourage people to download these maps and take a look at them. The amount of work Cincy put into them is staggering. What are the odds of these getting put on the server, even if it were just a test run?

You'll have to get the attention of the high admins for the maps to be put on the servers, even for testing.

    Re: cC Maps

The screenshots on the website make the maps look pretty basic. I didn't see much decoration or attempt to make the maps look like a realistic setting (unless you wanted to realistically model a featureless unfinished construction site or an alley with dust textures). Are there any better screenshots that I'm not seeing that would make us drool over these maps a bit? As it is I'd just rather play frost, promhoz, sewer, navarrobase, villa, etc... more instead of adding these new maps.

As far as eye candy goes you won't find much in cincy's maps. They are heavily based on game-play over appearance. Disruption is the most "realistic" looking of the bunch. Check out his youtube page for a few videos of Disruption and Deft at :YouTube - cccincinnati's Channel
If you want I can take some screenshots of some of the other maps and upload them to give you a better idea.
