When I first started playing I used the desk surface which seemed to work fine. Then I upgraded to taping a piece of paper/cardboard to the desk and that worked even better. I eventually bought a $5 mousepad from walmart and I was amazed at what a difference it made. 10 years later, I now rock a $20 steelseries I-2 glasstop pad, and it kickes the shit out of the $5 walmart pad. Based on this review I bought a Steelseries. Should come this Sat or so. Mousepads have sucked lately. The cloth pads don't give good resolution and the nice plastic one I got slides like a mofo. My solution was to glue the plastic one to the cloth one with the rubber bottom. Long story short, its a disaster and I think it's making my game bad in general.

I've been eying Steelseries forever.

I'll post a review after I play with it for a few days!

Razer Exact Mat. Been using it for 4 years now and needless to say it is amazing.

I have the biggest Razor one...the goliathus. i just like it cuz its huge so mouse never comes off the pad

I jacked some Foam out of my old DDR pad. It covers the Entire desktop. I've got pics too.

The goliathus isn't the biggest, the Goliathus Extended is. I love my Goliathus extended, it's the speed edition.
